Sea Urchin Studs

Sterling silver sea urchins set as studs, cast from small urchin shells collected on local beaches. The cast keeps the urchin's dimpled surface and the fine ridges running from its centre, which is a lot of detail to hold at this size. Set flat against the ear, the texture is what you notice rather than the shape. Two sizes. The Baby is a 10mm urchin and sits neat and close. The Classic is 14mm and covers noticeably more of the lobe. If you are unsure, the Baby is the safer everyday choice and the Classic is the one people comment on. They match Kinkel's sea urchin necklaces, which use the same cast at the same two sizes. We stock Kinkel in the shop on Oak Street in Greyton, and post anywhere in South Africa.
