Limpet Pearl Necklace

A cast sterling silver limpet shell on a chain, with a row of small freshwater pearls set alongside it. The limpet is cast from a real shell off a local beach, ribbed from the peak down to the rim. The pearls run in a line rather than a cluster, so the necklace keeps one clean shape and the shell stays the focus. Chain comes in 40, 45 or 50cm. Shorter than the plain limpet necklace, which suits it: the pearls want to sit up near the collarbone where they catch light against skin. The dressier limpet piece.
