Limpet Necklace

A sterling silver limpet shell on a fine chain, cast from a real one off a local beach. Limpets are the ribbed cones stuck to rocks along the Cape coast. The cast keeps the ribbing running from the peak down to the rim, and the hollow underside, so the pendant has real depth to it rather than being a flat silhouette. Chain comes in 40, 45, 50, 55 or 60cm. The shell sits at a slight angle on the chain rather than dead flat, which shows the cone shape better than a straight hang would. The most understated piece Kinkel make. If you want shell jewellery that does not announce itself, this is the one.
