Cowrie Pearl Necklace

A sterling silver cowrie shell on a chain, with a row of small freshwater pearls running alongside it. The shell is cast from a real cowrie, so the smooth top face and the ridged slot underneath are the original's. The pearls sit in a line rather than clustered, which keeps the necklace reading as one clean shape instead of a bunch of charms. Chain comes in 40, 45 or 50cm. Shorter than most of Kinkel's other necklaces, so this one sits at or just below the collarbone rather than dropping onto the chest. The pearls make this the dressier cowrie necklace. For something you can put on daily without thinking, the plain version is the better choice. We stock Kinkel in the shop on Oak Street in Greyton, and post anywhere in South Africa.
