Coral Necklace

A branch of coral cast in sterling silver, 20 by 10mm, on a fine chain. Kinkel cast from a real piece of coral, so the surface keeps the pitting and the slightly uneven branching of the original. In silver those hollows hold shadow, which gives the pendant more depth than its size suggests. Chain comes in 40, 45, 50, 55 or 60cm. The pendant is small enough that a longer chain suits it: at 55 or 60 it sits low on the chest with room around it, which shows the shape better than having it tucked at the throat. It sits flat and lies still, so it works layered under or over a second chain without catching. We stock Kinkel in the shop on Oak Street in Greyton, and post anywhere in South Africa.
