Calypso Pearl Studs

Organic freshwater pearls set close to the ear in sterling silver. The quietest piece in Kinkel's Calypso range. Each pearl sits in a setting shaped around it, so the silver follows the pearl's own irregularities instead of hiding them. Worn, they read as pearl studs from across a room and as something rather more considered up close. Freshwater pearls of this kind are not matched for uniformity. The two in a pair will differ in shape, and slightly in the way they catch light. That is the character of the range rather than a fault. Studs, so they sit flat and stay put. These are the Calypso piece to buy if you want to wear it daily rather than for occasions. We stock Kinkel in the shop on Oak Street in Greyton, and post anywhere in South Africa.
