Calico Necklace

A single sterling silver calico shell on a fine chain. The plainest piece in Kinkel's calico range and the easiest to wear with anything. The shell is cast from a real calico picked up on the beach, so the banded pattern across its back is the original shell's rather than an engraved approximation. Silver picks it up as fine ridges that catch the light when you move. Chain comes in 40, 45, 50, 55 or 60cm. The shorter lengths sit at the base of the throat; 55 and 60 drop low enough to wear over a jumper or a shirt collar. Good on its own and good layered, which is the argument for the plain version over the pearl one. It sits flat and does not tangle with a second chain. We stock Kinkel in the shop on Oak Street in Greyton, and post anywhere in South Africa. The Jewellery is handmade per order. Orders will take between 6 – 12 business days (excluding shipping) to manufacture.
